NCAA Apologizes for Disparities between Women's and Men's Facilities

The NCAA is promising to bring better resources to the Women's Division I Basketball Tournament after videos and images of the women's facilities sparked outrage.

A CBS News article has posted a photo from Ali Kershner’snIG—the sports performance coach for Stanford University's women's basketball team—with a caption that read in part, "In a year defined by a fight for equality, this is a chance to have a conversation and get better."

The post showed disparities in the equipment and amenities provided to the men vs. the womxn.

The article also included this sentiment from Oregon forward Sedona Prince, saying, "It's 2021 and we're still fighting for bits and pieces of equality," and,"If you aren't upset about this problem, then you are apart of it."
