“BODEQUALITY is... a full transformation of our business in service to our customers based on years of working closely with them to research their needs. I’m proud of the collaboration across our Old Navy teams to evolve the retail experience for women.”

The gist: What is BODEQUALITY? It’s the campaign from Old Navy that marks the beginning of price parity for their plus-size and straight-size customers, that will:

  • officially offer every one of its women’s styles in every size with no price difference
  • be the first value retailer to offer sizes 0-30 and XS-4X for all women’s styles with no price difference in sizes
  • merchandised all women’s styles together with no specially designated section for “plus”
  • offer new mannequins in sizes 4, 12 and 18
  • offer a new online shopping toggle feature to select their preferred default model display size

It not only codifies the retailer as the first one to make the size-pay-parity offering, but we’re also applauding the example of the holistic way the Company is bringing it forward, having the ethos touch multiple parts of the business, so that it will even include ‘customer-focused training’ for its associates, “to create an inclusive environment.”
